KS2 Intervention Teacher (Part-time)

We are looking to appoint a skilled and experienced KS2 teacher with excellent subject knowledge, particularly in Upper KS2 English and Maths, to join our excellent team. The role would be to work alongside the class teacher to accelerate progress, would would be given time for planning within the day if required as well as given clear objections based on their recent accessments.

The appointed teacher will:
•Have high expectations of themselves and others
•Recognise common barriers to learning and have proven strategies to overcome these
•Be reflective of their own practice
•Be an excellent team member, able to communicate clearly and effectively and contribute well to discussions regarding children's progress
•Have excellent subject knowledge
•Use AfL to accurately identify learners' needs and be able to work creatively to ensure good levels of progress
•Have proven experience of KS2 SATs and other assessments
•Have flexibility and adaptability to respond to learners' changing needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
