Job description
A lovely school in the Bradley Stoke area are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in their different year groups throughout the school. This school is known for its colour and vibrance and is looking for enthusiastic and hands on candidates who can support the children in the classroom. It is a happy place, where children, staff and parents all work together to learn more about themselves and the world around them.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the teacher in the classroom with classroom management and implementing lesson plans and activities. You will assist students during the day with their work and encourage engagement and development. There may be some 1:1 or small group work involved where you will carry out an activity with children ensuring they are involved and completing the work that is set.

Usual school hours are 8:30-3:30 but some half days may be required. There are part-time and full-time positions available so there will be a working pattern that suits your timetable! Experience isn't essential but it is highly desired. Primarily, the school is looking for someone who is happy to get their hands dirty and get involved in all aspects of school life. Candidates must be enthusiastic and have a passion for working with children and education.
