Job description
A lovely three-form entry school in the borough of Brent is seeking qualified Primary teachers to deliver lessons in Key Stage 1 from September 2016 for a period of 1 year.

You will be a passionate and ideally experienced teacher and keen to further the attainment of pupils. Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Plan and deliver an appropriate, broad, differentiated curriculum to specific groups of pupils, appropriate to their needs

• Assess, record and report on all aspects of pupils’ progress and development;

• Contribute to raising standards of pupil attainment;

• Provide or contribute to oral and written assessments relating to individual pupils or groups of pupils, internally, with parents and outside agencies;

• Ensure high standards of behaviour so that effective learning can take place, and good relationships can be formed within the school community;

The successful applicant must have:

- Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE or Cert Ed.)

- A minimum of 1 year UK teaching experience.

- Knowledge of KS1 National Curriculum and the ability to plan differentiated work.

- A valid DBS or willing to undertake one.

- Eligible to work in the UK.

- Excellent teaching references

- Strong behaviour management skills.

If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
