This lovely primary school based in Ely is searching for an enthusiastic and passionate KS1 teacher to join their school this September.

***MPS/UPS Salary

This KS1 Teacher position would suit a capable and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher who has a track record of 'Good' or better teaching and is able to motivate the class with their creative and engaging lessons. The perfect candidate will be able to encourage imaginative learning amongst their students and show exemplary understanding of the required curriculum.

About the KS1 Teacher Role

As a KS1 Teacher your role will involve you joining one of the school's KS2 classes as a general class teacher and you will be developing through plenty of training and CPD programmes. Part of your role will include delivering lessons day-to-day with the full support and help from a teaching assistant on hand to help you lead small groups of students and 1:1 sessions'. In this post you will be operating in a school overseen by a highly-skilled and enthusiastic Headeacher who make all staff feel valued and appreciated.

All applicants require

Have the legal right to work in the UK

Hold QTS or a UK recognized equivalent teaching qualification;

Be able to provide 2 references, covering a minimum 6 month period within the last year, from senior members of staff who have seen you teach.

Hold or be prepared for us to apply for a full DBS

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
