KS1 Teacher

Protocol Education is currently seeking an outstanding and dynamic Full Time KS1 teacher to join one of our lovely independent preparatory schools in Loughton with around 260 boys and girls aged 2½ to 11.

Our client is a 3-form entry school who has high expectations of all of pupils, both in their learning and wider development with strong traditions, values and morals. They are looking for a dynamic, hard-working and passionate teacher to join their small but supportive team and plan, deliver and asses the KS1 National British Curriculum to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive experience working within the KS1 British National Curriculum. They will have a strong understanding of KS1, excellent behaviour management skills with a can-do' and positive attitude. You will be able to work with the minimum of supervision and take own initiative when necessary. You will have a warm and friendly personality which will allow you to build excellent rapport with children and other members of staff.

The successful applicant must have:
- A Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE or Cert Ed.)
- A minimum of 1 year UK teaching experience.
- Knowledge of KS1 British National Curriculum and the ability to plan differentiated work.
- A valid DBS or willing to undertake one with Protocol Education.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Excellent teaching references
