Job description
Are you a qualified Key Stage 1 teacher seeking to join a well-established and dynamic primary school in Doncaster?

My client school is seeking either an experienced class teacher or NQT that is passionate about providing an exciting learning experience for their pupils. The school caters for a diverse community and teachers joining the school should feel comfortable working in a multi faith environment. The school provides a colourful and inspiring working environment for the children, supporting a host of cultures and ethnicities. The school aims to mould their pupils into confident, bright young pupils, preparing them for the challenges of adult life.

As a teacher in this school you will be responsible for managing your own year 2 class and working closely with your parallel teaching partner. You will be supported by an experienced teaching assistant that has excellent experience working with all year groups and who will be on hand to support with planning and the management of the classroom. Class sizes are also small with just 25 children per class.

This position is seen by the head teacher as an extremely important role in the school. Year 2 SATS results have consistently been good within the school and its important that the new teacher continues in this successful path.

If you feel this is the role for you, please forward your up to date CV ASAP!

Only candidates will the following will be considered:

· Either a PCGE with QTS or a Bachelor of Education with QTS; or be eligible for QTS

· Ideally at least two years teaching experience in Ks1

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools.
