Job description
A large supportive primary school based in the Doncaster area are looking to a Y1 Teacher (NQT) to start in September 2016 on a 1 year temporary basis. This is a really exciting opportunity for an NQT to join the team.

Do you feel comfortable working as a Y1 teacher (NQT) with children who are disadvantaged and their focus is their education?

Our client is a thriving 2 form entry primary school based in Doncaster. The Head and team are looking to secure an enthusiastic, resilient and dedicated Y1 Teacher (NQT) that is committed to making a real difference not only in the classroom but within the wider school community. As a Y1 Teacher (NQT) you will take on a group of 30 children who want to learn and make the most of their education. The children in this school come from high deprivation and the only thing stable in their lives is their education. As the appointed Y1 Teacher (NQT) you will be expected to have high expectations for all students and deliver the most engaging, inspiring and motivational lessons that truly will make a difference to their futures.

As a Y1 teacher (NQT) you will work collaboratively alongside the other Y1 teacher who has several years experience and is the KS1 Leader giving you the comfort of knowing you will be working alongside an exceptional leader and classroom practitioner who will also double up as your NQT mentor. As a Y1 teacher (NQT) you will be offered the very best training and support to ensure that you get your NQT year off with a bang.

The school is currently being refurbished and the final building work will be completed by September 2018. Classrooms are very big with great wall displays throughout the school adding colour to children’s lives. The facilities and resources are fantastic and teachers and children have full access to these.
