KS1 Teacher Job | Key Stage 1 Teacher | Leeds | £130–£200 per day | Full-Time

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher (Key Stage 1 Teacher) for a full-time role in Leeds, offering a competitive daily rate of £130–£200 per day, depending on experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive primary school, helping pupils develop key foundational skills in Year 1 and Year 2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Support pupils with phonics, early reading, writing, and numeracy
  • Prepare pupils for KS1 SATs (Year 2) where applicable
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, implementing targeted interventions
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (KS1)
  • Strong knowledge of phonics schemes (e.g. Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds)
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
