We’re working with a number of friendly and well-run primary schools across Southwark who are looking for KS1 Teachers for roles starting this Easter and September.

What the role involves

• Teaching a KS1 class (Year 1 or Year 2)
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity
• Creating positive routines and strong classroom relationships
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and year group teams
• Supporting pupils’ academic and social development


What we’re looking for

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or relevant primary placements
• Strong classroom management and a nurturing teaching style
• A positive and flexible approach to school environments
• Enthusiasm for helping young learners build confidence and independence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
