Job description
A good school in the lovely borough of Ealing are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team in September. The school is committed to providing high quality education for all students. Pupils learn in a safe, caring environment, one that enables them to reach their full potential. Under an umbrella of rights, respect and responsibilities and the school promotes understanding, co-operation equal opportunities.

The ideal candidate should have:

•Be able to provide support to children with mathematics, reading and writing on an individual, class or small group basis
•Be able to give extra help to children with special needs or those for whom English is not their first language
•Help to develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials
•Motivate and encourage pupils

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:

1. You will need to supply two years of references of which at least one must be from a school setting.
2. You must have a good level of both spoken and written English

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
