KS1 or FS2 Teacher required in Tameside
I am working with a school in Stockport, Manchester who are looking to recruit a KS1 or FS2 primary school teacher. The school requires an outstanding and enthusiastic teacher to join their supportive and friendly team. Ideally, you will have experience of teaching within KS1 or FS2 and you will understand the challenges facing schools in the current climate, particularly regarding individualised learning programmes to address any gaps in pupils learning. The post is open to experienced staff and NQTs.
The school was rated good at its last inspection in 2018. They are a three form entry primary Academy and they pride themselves on their warm and welcoming ethos with a focus on the best possible learning for all. The school have incredibly dedicated staff and enthusiastic pupils.
The post is to cover maternity which starts in May 2021 and ends December 2021. The school have said they will be looking to extend the contract depending on budgets and finding the right candidate.
The successful candidate will:

·Be personable, approachable and able to build positive working relationships with adults and children.
·Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge all pupils.
·Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge across the curriculum.
·Plan targeted interventions across core subjects and liaise with the SENCO to evaluate pupil progress.
·Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment.
·Be an excellent team player who recognises the value of planning and working collaboratively with excellent communication and organisational skills.
·Use excellent and positive behaviour management strategies.
