Job description
Protocol Education has an immediate vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant at a Primary School in the London Borough of Camden.

The role will be working 1-to-1 with a child in Reception (moving to Year 1 in September) who is presenting challenging behaviours and disengagement. You will need to have a calm and sympathetic nature, as well as resilience and patience.

The child you will be working with has a diagnosis of Social, Emotional and Mental Health and needs a strong Learning Support Assistant who has experience in a classroom setting working with children struggling to engage. Experience of working in an Alternative Provision or Pupil Referral Unit would be an advantage, but not essential.

The school itself is based in the Finchley Road area of Camden, easily accessible by Overground Trains and by a couple of nearby Underground stations. There are also several bus routes passing very close by.

If you have experience working with children or young adults with special education needs, and are interested in making a positive contribution to the lives of young people, please send your CV or call Simon on 020 3219 7740.
