A small and friendly Primary School in Greenford are looking for and experienced Learning Support Assistants for an ASAP start in a Year 1 Class.

They are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge of KS1 curriculum, especially in areas such as phonics.

In this role you will be working alongside the Teacher supporting generally and also supporting a child who has Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as some complex Social and Emotional challenges within the class.

We are looking for people who have a pro-active, can do attitude and are willing to go the extra mile for the students they support. As part of the role you will be expected to take a lead on supporting students with activities and interventions in areas such as maths, phonics and literacy so it is essential that you are confident in this area.

This can either be from a strong education background or experience working in a similar setting. Ideally you will also have experience of working with children who have ASD, in order to bring knowledge and effective strategies to support these students effectively.
