Job description
The Governors of a Smethwick Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner to join their hard working and friendly team. The post is to commence ideally from September 2016. The successful candidate will teach in year 3 alongside a variety of experienced and supportive colleagues and there is the opportunity to lead Literacy across the school.

The successful candidate will:

-Have a good knowledge and understanding of Key

Stage 2 curriculum, especially Literacy.

-Experience leading a subject.

-Be organised, enthusiastic and determined to succeed

-Be committed to raising the quality of learning and teaching

for all children

-Be a good communicator

-Enjoy working collaboratively

-Be required to co-ordinate at least one subject area across the

school.

The school can offer a happy environment where all staff and children have a positive experience. Staff are friendly and supportive and children are well behaved and eager to learn.
