Job Title: Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

Location: Maidstone

Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for our Key Stage 2 pupils, fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment, and contributing to the wider community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Key Stage 2 pupils.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support student learning and progress.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement interventions where necessary to support individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective curriculum plans and teaching strategies.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering open communication and a supportive learning community.   
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and experience in planning and delivering effective lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for all students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
