Protocol Education are currently working with a Primary School in Westminster who are looking for a SEND TA to join them in KS2 ASAP.

This is a full-time, term-time post which will run for the full academic year.

For the strongest candidate, this may lead to a permanent position at the school.

Interviews and trials are taking place immediately.

About the school:

Based in Westminster, this mainstream Primary School has a number of students with ASD. They are proud of their SEN offer and the successful applicant would be joining a team of experienced SEND TA’s who go above and beyond to ensure the quality of care and learning taking place is too a high standard.

The school is a new-build, and the successful candidate can expect to work in a state-of-the-art building with the latest technologies.

About the Role:

You will be working with a child in KS2 who has ASD. The child is high functioning but needs support focusing in class. You will also take the child to sensory sessions outside the classroom.

You will also be working closely with the SENDCO and following an EHCP plan to ensure the child is making maximum progress.

What we need from you: 

If you have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or are passionate about improving the outcomes for young people, this is the role for you.

 As an individual you will be passionate about supporting SEND children and this will be evident in your positive approach on a daily basis.

It is desired (although not essential) that applicants have a qualification in Team Teach and experience in working with children with SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
