Job description
My client, a Large inner-city primary school located in central Cambridge, are looking to appoint an experienced Teacher looking for a new challenge. The school are in need of a KS1 teacher who is comfortable marking and planning for a class of year 1 students.

The schools latest Ofsted report (2013) states that ‘Pupils achieve well, they make good process and are re-attaining above average standards in reading, writing and broadly maths.’

To qualify you must;

- Be a qualified teacher offering ideally a PGCE, B.Ed or BA with QTS

- Be eligible to work in the UK

- Be resident in the UK

- Previous UK teaching experience would be an advantage.

- Hold a current advanced DBS, on the update service, or be willing to complete a new one.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
