Job Duties:

1. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and 2 students in accordance with the national curriculum.

2. Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

4. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic development of students.

5. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour.

Required Qualifications:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

2. Relevant degree in Education or related field.

3. Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 students.

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Understanding of child development principles.

2. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

3. Excellent classroom management skills.

4. Proficiency in using educational technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

Working Conditions:

1. Full-Time contract position.

2. Work hours in line with school timetable.

3. Classroom-based teaching with some administrative responsibilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
