Protocol Education are holding a recruitment morning on 8th of August 2019.

We are currently recruiting support staff to work in a number of Secondary and SEND schools in the Sunderland area. The successful candidates may cover lessons in the absence of the teachers. Pupils will continue their learning by carrying out pre-prepared activities under your supervision. Another roles available will involve working with pupils, either 1:1, in a small group or in-class support. Candidates will usually be required 3-5 days per week.

If successful you will be a graduate or have relevant transferable skills such as experience working as a Youth Worker/ Police or Military/ sport coach / care work. Candidates with personal experience of dealing with SEND and challenging behaviour within their home and family life will also be considered.
