Job description
Looking for an exciting new role for 2018?

Protocol Education is seeking committed, reliable, passionate teaching assistants near Richmond to work in an all through special needs school for the rest of the academic year. The school are offering a placement until July 2018 to which they will give the option to extend the placement further depending on performance.

The school have just moved to a brand-new state of the art building in the heart of Richmond, the school has plans to increase in numbers over the next term and will be needing new members of staff to join their growing team. This school offers great training and development opportunities as well as a clear pathway to progress into teaching.

Prior experience working with students with special educational needs is desirable however it is not essential as the school pride themselves on having good training and development programmes. You will need to demonstrate an enthusiastic and caring attitude to work as you will be required to work in small groups or 1-1 with students.

The school are looking for individuals that are:

• Experienced working with children with ASD and complex needs
• Adaptable, and able to work in a challenging setting
• Interested in working in a different environment

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
