Job description
January Teaching Assistant Postions Available

Protocol Education is seeking committed, reliable, passionate teaching assistants near Richmond and Twickenham to work in an all through special needs school for the rest of the academic year. The school are offering placements from January 2019 to July 2019 to which they will give the option to extend the placement further depending on performance.

The school strives to meet the diverse and individual needs of its pupils who have special education needs and disabilities. Students with special needs travel from all over London to attend this school as it is one of the biggest in London which provide education for those with autism and complex needs. This is a large school for students aged between 4 19; due to this the school like to encourage independence and life skills within the learning.

It is fundamental that any candidate considering this position has prior experience working with students with special educational needs. You will need to demonstrate an enthusiastic and caring attitude to work as you will be required to work in small groups or 1-1 with students.

The school are looking for individuals that are:

• Experienced working with children with ASD and complex needs
• Adaptable, and able to work in a challenging setting
• Interested in working in a different environment
• Committed, resilient and caring
