We are working on behalf of a secondary school located in Chingford who are seeking to appoint an IT Technician.

The successful IT Technician must have up to date knowledge of IT best practice, products and statutory requirements, and be looking for a promotion or a move into an exciting new role.

As well as supporting the staff you must be able to support the students get the most out of their IT learning.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This is a new build mainstream school primarily focused on inclusivity and community dynamics, scoring Outstanding in their most recent Ofsted inspections.



  • Respond to requests for ICT support in accordance with Help Desk procedures and priorities, with the ability to resolve issues within SLA’s assigned by the helpdesk
  • Liaise with users during Project Testing periods to ensure new systems are performing to user requirements.
  • Experience of working in an on-site IT based, Customer Service environment.
  • Proven experience of supporting Microsoft products, including Office 365 and Office 2016, SharePoint, and other desktop related products.
  • Recent experience of supporting Apple and Windows 10 PCs, laptops and tablets.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
