My client, an Ofsted rated 'Good' school in north Leicestershire area, are urgently seeking a teacher/lecturer of IT for an immediate start in August 2016.
Due to a recent change in staffing requirements, my client is currently seeking a well-qualified and experienced teacher of IT (with minimal Computer Science) for the Autumn term and beyond. The school boasts fantastic ammenities for all staff members including an on-site gym, free catering, and much more. The school was last inspected by Ofsted in 2014 and received a 'Good' grade. Since the most recent inspection, the school has made fantastic strides towards becoming an Outstanding education provider, and students genuinely value and enjoy their years here.
You will ideally have experience teaching IT from key stages 3 through to 5, and a passion for your subject is an absolute must. You will have the drive, know-how, and determination to ensure the continuous improvement of the school both inside your department and outside of it - a willingness to lead and devise extra-curricular activities is hugely desirable. There will be an element of teaching computer science as part of this role but it is minimal (2-3 lessons per week) and schemes of work will be developed for you if you are unable to devise them yourself.
To be successful for this role you must have:
•QTS or extensive teaching experience and eligibility to work within the UK.
•Extensive subject knowledge.
•Strong interpersonal skills.
•Sound behaviour management.
•The passion and drive to help the school and its students at a pivotal time
