Job description
We are currently seeking an interim Deputy Head Teacher to cover the first term of the new academic year as a minimum. The school is an EBD/SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) focused environment in east London that deals with challenging behaviours and reintegration processes for secondary aged children.

All students have been removed from their mainstream school in order to provide an equal opportunity to achieve. They are within a more focused group setting and receive mentors to help them regain a place in mainstream. A nurturing environment is key to separate the students from the negative influences they find themselves having in every day life.

The successful candidate must have experience with challenging behaviours and structuring effective learning. We need a strong leader with a desire to make a difference to children's lives.

Please call Harry at Protocol Education on 020 3219 7745 if you are interested in the position and would like to learn more. You can also Email at hcoffey@protocol-education.com

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
