Main purpose and scope of post

The job as Curriculum Manager is to lead on the development and delivery of the curriculum, ensuring a person-centred, outcome focused approach that promotes very high standards of learning, teaching and assessment.

The Curriculum Manager Job Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Are

§This job requires applicants to have significant SEND experience.
§The Job as Curriculum Manager Position is required to promote a positive culture that embeds the College's values and beliefs.
§The job requires you to be a role model for outstanding employability skills and practices
§The Curriculum Manager will represent the College positively and highly effectively in all dealings with external partners, parents, stakeholders and agencies
§The job includes the demonstration of exemplary communication practices in line with the whole College communication plan.
§The job as Curriculum Manager is required to maximise the continual professional development of individual staff and teams through the appraisal system
§The Curriculum Manager will line manage the three Pathway Leaders, plus English and maths provision ensuring the implementation of the College's human resources, health and safety and safeguarding policies, and actively promote equality and diversity in the College
§The job requires the Curriculum Manager to develop plans, policies and procedures for all areas within scope of the post and ensure compliance across the College
§The job will require the chosen applicant to take responsibility for own continuing professional development as agreed in the appraisal process
§Undertake rigorous self-assessment of all areas within scope of the post and raise standards through pro-active quality improvement that is data driven
§The Curriculum Manager will support learners and staff to improve their maths and English skills through everyday experiences
§The job requires the success person to be responsible for taking all appropriate measures to safeguard young people and promote their welfare
§The Curriculum Manager will deputise for Vice Principal Quality and Curriculum.
