Full-time from August 2016
My client, a large oversubscribed school in inner-city Leicestershire, are currently seeking a teacher of IT to commence teaching in the Autumn term. The school has recently come under new leadership and are looking for dedicated and innovative teachers to help bring a positive change to the school. Behaviour is known to be challenging at this school, so strong behaviour management is a requirement in order to be successful in this role - one of the many changes under the new leadership is a new behaviour policy that will hopefully improve behaviour within the school dramatically.
Although you will be working in a challenging environment, the existing faculty is extremely supportive and this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills as an educator whilst also teaching in one of the oldest and well-known schools in Leicestershire. You must be enthusiastic and dedicated - no two days will be the same, but in exchange for your hard work, you will receive the opportunity to genuinely change the lives of your students as well as ensure the continued success of the school. Opportunities to progress your career here are openly available. Unfortunately NQT's will not be considered at this time.
To be successful for this role you must have:
•QTS and eligibility to work within the UK.
•Extensive subject knowledge.
•Strong interpersonal skills.
•Sound behaviour management.
•The passion and drive to help the school and its students at a pivotal time
