A Durham school is currently recruiting for a learning support assistant to begin immediately. If successful you will provide support to pupils in KS3 and KS4 in the schools inclusion unit. The candidate will initially be required until December although there is a high probability they will be required until the end of the academic year.
The successful candidate will have experience of dealing with a range of SEND. They will will work alongside teaching staff to provide both academic and pastoral support for pupils accessing the school's inclusion unit. At times the candidate may be required to complete some administration tasks.
The school is located in north of the county , making it easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Gateshead and Sunderland.
