Inclusion Support Worker

Protocol Education are working with a school in the Calderdale area who are after inclusion support workers to support their students with ASC (autism spectrum condition) and who have had adverse childhood experiences. This school engages the students both indoors as well as outdoors. There is a farm on the property where students can partake in animal therapy. This school is a well leading SEMH provision with a holistic approach to learning.

Responsibilities:
•Personal care
•Working 1:1 with students
•Support students in their educational and personal development
•Building relationships with the students
•Team player; able to work well with other staff as well as the teacher
•Able to work outdoors with the students

Requirements:
•Experience working with children with additional needs
•Don't mind getting your hands dirty
•Nurturing and patient
•Good communication and behaviour management skills
•Versatile

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
