Protocol Education are working with a school in Brighouse who are after inclusion support workers to support their students with ASC (autism spectrum condition) on a one-to-one basis. The students at this school are aged 5 to 19. This school believes that each student has the ability to learn and the capacity to become successful and happy members of society. With the understanding that each student faces different challenges and are coming in at different starting points, this schools believes their main responsibility is to lessen any barriers to learning, enhance their education, develop their self-confidence, and build up their strength and resilience. This school offers a comprehensive and balanced curriculum so the students can develop both personally and educationally.

Requirements:
•Previous experience working with students with additional needs
•Able to form relationships with the students
•Have good communication and behaviour management skills
•Be adaptable and patient
•Work as part of a team; with the teacher as well as other staff members
•Passionate about working with students with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
