Inclusion Support Assistant Roles Available – Ferryhill

A specialist educational provision in Ferryhill is looking for compassionate and dedicated Inclusion Support Assistants to join their team for the next academic year.

The school supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, providing tailored interventions that help them build confidence, develop positive behaviours and achieve success.

The Role

Provide day-to-day support for pupils with SEMH needs
Deliver intervention and mentoring sessions
Encourage positive engagement and participation
Support pupils during breaktimes and transitions
Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams
Contribute to monitoring and reporting processes

About You

Experience supporting children or young people
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
Patient, empathetic and adaptable
Able to remain calm in challenging situations
Passionate about inclusion and supporting young people
Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
