Job description
An engaging Humanities Teacher is required for a Leicestershire based secondary school, the position will start in October and run through to December 2017. The school is an 11-18 setting with c800 pupils and is making good progress with equipping students with qualifications and additional skills for later life.

You will teach KS3, 4 and 5 groups across the school. It is hoped that you will be able to plan and prepare a curriculum that allows the learners an opportunity to feel immersed in their subject and partake in engaging/innovative lessons. You will work closely with a small team of learning mentor's to ensure that pupils with additional needs are catered for and that their learning is on track.

The school is hoping to secure the services of a qualified Humanities Teacher with effective behaviour management but more importantly the capacity to develop a strong rapport with pupils. They are looking for a Humanities Teacher that has experience of KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience desirable but not essential.
