Schools across Newcastle upon Tyne are seeking Humanities graduates to join their teams as Learning Support Assistants, supporting pupils across subjects such as History, Geography, Religious Studies and Social Sciences.

As a Humanities Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Support pupils during Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
Work 1:1 and with small groups of pupils who need additional support
Help students understand key concepts in history, geography and society
Support pupils with SEND including ADHD, ASD and SEMH
Assist teachers with lesson resources and classroom activities
Encourage discussion, confidence and engagement in learning
You will play an important role in helping pupils stay focused and develop their understanding of the world around them.

Strong Humanities departments and collaborative teaching teams
