Job description
We are looking for an experienced candidate who has managerial experience to work in a college in Frome. This college is looking for a House Manager to join their vibrant team and work alongside other members of staff in the team. The tasks of the house manager generally have the responsibilities of planning, organising and coordinating events, managing household calendars and schedules, arranging appointments, scheduling and supervising home maintenance projects.

The role will have a working pattern of 90 hours across two weeks including a mix of early and late shifts and one shift every other weekend.

The college supports and accommodates pupils with ASD. It is a residential college therefore pupils stay on the weekends. This college places emphasis on personality and attitude towards the role therefore you must have the correct approach towards working in education. They notice skills that can be transferrable and used in the setting when working with them, they are very open minded and is great to work for. There is a great career ladder to work up as their CEO started as a support worker as well as their Head of Education.

Essential Criteria:
•Managerial experience
•Personable and approachable personality
•The ability to positively manage a team and work alongside others
•Organisational skills

Highly Desirable Criteria:
•Level 5 in management
•Experience working with SEND
•Experience working in an educational setting
