Job description
Protocol Education have been instructed by one of our Special Needs schools to help them secure a Tutor for next term.

This role will involve travelling around West Yorkshire and Tutoring pupils in their own homes. This will be a full time role and the ideal candidate must have previous experience of working with pupils with behavioural issues and ASD.

The school are looking for a flexible and caring individual who posses excellent interpersonal skills. You will be mainly tutoring basic life skills as well as Literacy and Numeracy.

As part of this role you be required to write reports and maintain pupil development with the case-load you would be working with. You will be working with pupils aged 11 - 18 on a 1-1 basis.

For this role you must be able to travel the West Yorkshire region so ideally in possession of your own transport.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
