Job description
2 x Higher Level Teaching Assistant

12.5 hours per week

Term Time Only

Permanent

A primary school in Barnsley are seeking to appoint 2 HLTA’s from 1st September 2016.

By working as part of a team, the main task is promote the learning and welfare of pupils by providing practical and learning support to pupils, including those with special needs, under the direction of a Class Teacher/Principal.

The successful candidate must have Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Maths as well as meeting the Higher Level Teaching Assistants standards or equivalent qualification or experience.

Protocol Education are seeking highly motivated classroom support staff who are passionate about working with children and young people. We ask that candidates have relevant experience working in a childcare setting who can take an active role in the classroom. We can offer excellent rates of pay and regular CPD training in areas such as SEND and Behaviour Management.

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools.
