You’re the calm in the classroom storm. The steady presence that helps lessons run smoothly and pupils feel seen, we have some local Primary Schools in Battersea that need someone exactly like you.

 

We’re looking for a qualified HLTA to join a vibrant, inclusive school that values reliable and consistent support staff. You’ll be stepping into a role where your skills are recognised, your ideas welcomed, and your impact felt daily.


What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Leading small group interventions and occasional whole-class cover
  • Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (based on your strengths)
  • Collaborating closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons
  • Helping to create a calm, structured, and positive classroom environment
  • Supporting SEN pupils with care, confidence, and consistency

 


You’ll need:

 

  • HLTA qualification or relevant experience covering classes
  • Confidence in managing a classroom independently
  • A warm, proactive approach with bags of patience
  • Good understanding of the primary curriculum and SEN support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
