HLTA (Spanish + PPA Cover)

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves languages, enjoys leading learning, and is happy to jump in where needed across the school.

Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Start Date: ASAP (or agreed)
Contract: Full-time, long-term

The Role

This HLTA position is split across the school day:

Morning:

• Teaching Spanish to pupils across the primary age range
• Delivering engaging, interactive language sessions
• Supporting pupils to build confidence in speaking and listening

Afternoon:

• Providing PPA cover across different year groups
• Delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining strong routines
• Supporting learning and behaviour in a calm, consistent way

 What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• HLTA qualification (or strong experience working at HLTA level)
• Spanish language skills (must be confident delivering Spanish sessions)
• Experience working in a UK primary school setting
• Strong classroom presence and behaviour management
• A warm, reliable approach and the ability to adapt quickly
