Job description
Do you have experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant at a Primary School?

Do you want to work in a Primary School as an HLTA and take on additional responsibilities?

A warm and welcoming primary school in Shropshire is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This position is available for an immediate start and will be ongoing; however, this may go permanent for the right candidate.

Located in Shropshire this mainstream school caters to students aged who have varied levels of Autism, social communication difficulties, speech and language needs and complex learning difficulties with associated behaviours. The Primary School have extremely high expectations of students to ensure everyone achieves their full potential. While sharing an ethos to encourage all pupils to develop their aspirations while providing a structured curriculum that helps them to be the best they can be.

Candidate:

·Have recent experience as an HLTA or Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school.
·Have a sound knowledge of the UK curriculum.
·Have a positive attitude and a willingness to support the school community.
·Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·Be hard-working and professional.
