Higher Level Teaching Assistant  - Primary (HLTA)

Protocol Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive school in Colchester from September on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is keen to progress, take on increased responsibility, and make a meaningful impact on pupils’ learning and development.

The Role:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons and covering classes when required
• Supporting pupils across the curriculum, both in class and through targeted interventions
• Contributing to planning, assessment, and pupil progress
• Working collaboratively with teachers and senior staff
• Supporting a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold HLTA status or have significant relevant experience
• Be confident supporting whole classes, small groups, and individual pupils
• Be motivated, proactive, and eager to develop professionally
• Have strong communication and classroom management skills
• Be passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
