We're working with a supportive provision in Gateshead seeking a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils across several educational provisions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning.

Driving is essential, as you'll be required to travel between different provisions during the working week.

Your responsibilities

• Lead whole-class and small group learning.
• Support pupils with SEMH, SEND and additional learning needs.
• Deliver engaging lessons and interventions.
• Foster a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Hold HLTA status or have equivalent experience.
• Have experience supporting children with additional needs.
• Are resilient, adaptable and confident.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
