We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a thriving school in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced education professional who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential.

As a HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and school leaders to deliver high-quality learning experiences, lead lessons when required, and provide targeted support to pupils across a range of abilities.

The Role

• Deliver engaging learning activities to individuals, small groups, and whole classes.
• Provide classroom cover in the absence of teaching staff.
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Deliver intervention programmes to raise attainment and confidence.
• Assist in planning and adapting learning activities to meet pupil needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress.

What We're Looking For

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience working within a school setting.
• Confidence leading learning activities and managing classrooms.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
