We’re working with a welcoming secondary academy where pupils are encouraged to aim high, enjoy learning, and feel genuinely valued. Built around the values of Aspiration, Respect and Excellence, the school has a calm, positive atmosphere and a strong sense of community.
This role is mainly teaching History across KS3 and KS4, with some wider Humanities where needed. There’s also the chance to teach A Level History for the right person. The curriculum is engaging, thoughtfully planned, and focused on developing curiosity, critical thinking and strong evidence-based discussion.
You’ll join a supportive Humanities team that shares ideas, plans collaboratively, and looks out for each other. Whether you’re an ECT or an experienced teacher, you’ll be trusted, supported and encouraged to do your best work.
The school also offers a strong extra-curricular programme and a nurturing year-based system that helps pupils feel connected, supported and proud of their school.
