We’re working with a welcoming, Ofsted-rated “Good” secondary school in Wolverhampton that’s looking for a full-time History Teacher to start ASAP. This is a long-term opportunity, ideal for someone who wants to settle into a supportive department and make a real impact with their students.

From powerful historical debates to those lightbulb moments when students connect the past to the present, this school is passionate about making History lessons engaging, thoughtful, and memorable.

What you’ll be doing

• Teaching History across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering engaging lessons that bring historical events, people, and ideas to life
• Encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and curiosity in the classroom
• Working with a supportive Humanities department that shares planning and resources
• Helping students build confidence ahead of their GCSE exams

What we’re looking for

• UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching History in a secondary setting
• Strong classroom management and engaging teaching style
• A passion for helping students understand the past and its impact on the world today
