Higher Level Teaching Assistant: Literacy
30 hours per week Monday to Friday. Term time only.
Start Date: 15th February 2021 or as soon as possible after (depending on lockdown restrictions being lifted)
We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and innovative HLTA in numeracy to support the work of the academy in improving outcomes for pupils in years five to eight.
The successful candidate would be required to lead numeracy interventions with individuals and small groups of pupils from Reception to Year 6, working alongside class teachers to design, deliver and assess the outcomes of intervention work.
The ideal candidate will have:
• a HLTA standard or equivalent accredited qualification
• excellent classroom management
• experience in delivering numeracy interventions
• a commitment to supporting and developing learning programmes for individuals and groups of children
