Job description
We are looking to appoint a HLTA with SEN experience for a school in county Durham. Duties will involve planning, leading and evaluating 1:1 and small group interventions and general classroom support to accelerate progress.

Full time to begin in September 2017. This role will predominantly be based in a Year 2 class however this school will be looking to appoint with flexibility.

Knowledge of reading intervention and behaviour management are essential.

The successful applicant will confidently deliver and teach lessons successfully. Have experience delivering various intervention programmes.

Have high expectations of all pupils and is committed to raising their educational attainment.

Are able to build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, teachers, parents and carers, and can work well in a team and have comprehensive knowledge of the National Curriculum.

Engage pupils and enrich lessons.

All Applicants Must:

- Be a qualified Teaching Assistant Level 4 or CACHE qualified

- Be eligible to work in the UK

- Be resident in the UK

- Have previous UK teaching experience

- Hold a current advanced DBS disclosure, issued within the last 12 months, or be willing to complete a new one.
