Job description
CALLING ALL HLTA’S!

Are you are an experienced and well qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant, and you want that next step up in your career, then this role is idea for you!

This HLTA role would suit an adept and strong-willed graduate who has practice working with children and the ability to accept more responsibilities. You must have a genuine appreciation for education and the skills to ensure your pupils are equally possessed with a passion for learning. You should have the capability to maintain a positive, caring attitude that lets all your students feel happy and settled in school. You will arrive with the capability to build working relationships with those around you. Ideally you will have a good catalogue of experience as a HLTA in a school, and be able to give clear examples to the Head teacher about best practice.

As a HLTA in you will be assisting with general support throughout the school. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the wider life of the school through participation in extra-curricular after school or lunch time activities. The HLTA in this school will have the responsibility of PPA cover, you will need excellent English written and verbal skills.

The curriculum they provide is based on enhancing the children`s life-skills through a variety of engaging and meaningful activities. Children possess their own unique qualities and the school recognises the importance of teaching to a range of learning styles
