I am delighted to be supporting an Outstanding Primary school in their hunt for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a long term role. The position is to start from April. This is an exciting and exceptional opportunity for candidates to become fully involved in whole class teaching. We are looking for people who are confident in their abilities, to deliver learning and have impact on all pupils.
The post will primarily be covering PPA and release time for teachers or supporting teaching and learning across the school.
We are looking for someone who will:
• Have high expectations of pupil’s achievement and behaviour.
• Feel comfortable working across the school (Yrs R-6).
• Work well within a team.
• Show a good sense of humour.
• Be a positive role model for children.
The leadership of the headteacher, deputy headteacher and assistant headteachers is outstanding. They lead the school with
energy and vigour and have developed the whole community. Behaviour is outstanding in classes and throughout the school, where there is a vibrant climate for learning. The school is a four form entry school and most pupils come from minority ethnic backgrounds. A large number of pupils speak English as an additional language.
