Job description
Protocol Education are currently working with a large secondary school in Sheffield who require a HLTA or a good Cover Supervisor to start in September. We are ideally looking for someone who has an English degree or equivalent. The post will involve working with students and staff to support literacy of low attainment students This may include: in-class support, 1:1 tuition or working with small groups extracted from lessons, the whole school focus is supporting students to be the best they can be.

The successful teaching assistant/cover supervisor will be expected to hold relevant qualifications and experience within a school environment. This member of staff must have a flexible approach to their roles as they will be working across the school with groups of children and on a 1:1 basis supporting literacy/numeracy needs. This school can provide an ideal supportive environment for anyone wishing to gain experience before taking the next steps into teaching or in developing their skills within these roles.
