Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive school in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take on additional responsibility while continuing to support pupils in reaching their full potential.

You'll work closely with teachers to deliver learning, lead small group interventions and occasionally cover lessons, making every day varied, rewarding and impactful.

• Deliver planned learning activities
• Lead intervention groups
• Support whole-class teaching
• Provide classroom cover when required
• Support pupils with additional needs

You'll have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA and be confident supporting learning across a range of year groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
