Job description: 

I am currently recruiting for a fantastic primary school in Waltham Forest who are currently looking for a Higher-level Teaching assistant to join there fantastic year 4 classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the teacher within the classroom and preparing for lessons, covering, and supervising classes
  • Supporting the students within the classroom and leading small group interventions or one-to-one support
  • Helping the teacher manage student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Supervising group activities, sports events, and school outings as well as supervising a team of teaching assistants

To be eligible for this role:

  •  You must have a valid in date DBS 
  •  Right to work in the UK
  •  Relevant experience supporting children including youth workers, support workers or tutors   will be taken into consideration
  •  Be able to provide two professional or relevant educational references within the last three years.
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Minimum L3 Early Years qualification
